International Human Rights

Human rights define the main principles to be followed by the state, public authorities, private individuals and legal entities. The necessity to respect human rights might be the subject of a dispute falling under diverse proceedings – criminal, administrative, constitutional and sometimes civil proceedings. In case it is not possible to ensure due respect of human rights by exhausting the domestic legal remedies, a respective complaint may be filed with the international human rights institutions, e.g. the European Court of Human Rights, UN Human Rights Committee or in case of the breach of EU law - the European Commission.
