Before starting the law firm Šķiņķis and Pētersons, Mārtiņš practiced in one of the leading law firms in the Baltic States. Mārtiņš is a litigation attorney mainly specializing in constitutional and administrative litigation and has previous experience of working at the administrative court.
Mārtiņš has successfully represented clients in a wide array of administrative and constitutional court cases important for the client and also being of public significance. He has a solid reputation for excellence and ethical practice, committed to resolving high profile and complex cases. Tax disputes, complicated spatial planning and construction cases, protection of state secrets and pharmacy law are only a few of the areas in which Mārtiņš has handled significant landmark cases that have challenged the domestic legal practice. Mārtiņš is also the author of numerous scientific publications on administrative and constitutional rights that have contributed to the development of these segments of law.
